New Year’s Eve Tablescape
The end of the year is a wonderful time to gather with friends and family and ring in the new year. If you are planning a get together, this rustic yet elegant NYE table is perfect for the occasion!
All it takes is a simple table setting with white dishes and some black paper to turn this table into a festive NYE table! And wait until you see the chic champagne bottle splits that I found! They are perfect for the occasion.
New Year’s Eve Table Decorations
If you are planning a New Year’s Eve dinner and you have your Christmas decorations still up, you already have some built-in ambiance! Twinkle lights are the perfect backdrop for this New Year’s Eve tablescape.
And I kept the table decor pretty simple, so it doesn’t compete with holiday decorations that are already in place around the house.
I used black paper table runner and ran it across the table at each place setting. See, this not only provides a pop of black, but serves as the placemats for each place setting.
And I wanted to mimic the twinkle lights that are around the house. So, I scattered small gold stars on the paper and over the garland centerpiece.
And I used the same faux garland for this New Year’s Eve tablescape that I used on my Vintage Modern Christmas Table. With the addition of some fresh greenery, this centerpiece is so gorgeous against the black kraft paper!
The battery-operated LED lights are draped on top of the garland to add more sparkle. This simple New Year’s Eve centerpiece is finished with the addition of my vintage brass candlesticks.
Festive Party Table Setting
Now, each place setting is set using simple white dishes and pretty gold flatware. The subtle gold mimics the other gold accents on this New Year’s Eve tablescape.
And I love the casual vibe that a simple, farmhouse linen napkin adds. Tied in a knot and placed on top of the plates, it subtly tells your guests to relax and enjoy the evening!
Now, since it is NYE, there much be champagne to toast the occasion, right? I found these champagne bottle splits at World Market. And I knew they would be perfect for this New Year’s Eve tablescape!
With their matte black bottles and gold writing, they are the perfect addition for this table setting. And I simply tied a festive gold straw to the bottle with baker’s twine.
Who doesn’t love their own personal bottle of champagne, right?
New Year’s Champagne Bar Cart
To continue the champagne theme, I set up my bar cart with everything you need to ring in the new year!
I filled this antique champagne bucket with fresh greenery and laid the bottles inside. It doesn’t take much to make it feel festive and elegant.
