How To Make A DIY Christmas Wreath
I started this Scandinavian Christmas wreath with a faux evergreen wreath. I have this one that I got from McGee & Co. a few years ago and I have used it on my holiday porch for the past 3 years. Invest in a good quality faux wreath and I swear you can do so many things with it!
First, attach the bells to the top of the wreath. I used floral wire to secure it to the wreath frame. Next, place the snowflakes around the wreath and play with the placement. Once you like where they are, use the branches of the wreath to gently tuck the snowflakes in place. Use the branches and bend them to cradle the snowflakes and hold them in place.
Because I like to reuse my wreath year after year, I don’t want to use hot glue or anything that may damage the wreath. But, you could also use floral wire to secure the snowflakes to the branches.
Next, add the gold stars. I used gold floral wire to secure them to the tips of the branches.
Finally, add some ribbon and twinkle lights. I found these battery operated lights that are the perfect length and I love the battery pack is absolutely the smallest I have ever seen. Perfect for tucking into this Scandinavian Christmas Wreath.
