Easy Holiday Appetizer Recipe
During the holidays, it’s usually a given that you will be either throwing a party or attending a festive get-together. These baked goat cheese bites are my favorite things to bring to a Christmas party!
This easy holiday appetizer recipe can be made ahead of time and sit at room temperature for up to 2 hours, assuming they aren’t devoured before then!
Topped with fresh pomegranate seeds, honey and thyme, the taste is delicious and bursting with flavor.
Christmas Appetizers Finger Foods
These easy holiday appetizers are made using pre-made phyllo cups. I love the easy prep involved in making these baked goat cheese bites.
And the phyllo cups are the perfect one-bite size. Talk about easy entertaining! Serve them with a stack of napkins for a no-fuss idea.
To prep this easy holiday appetizer, remove the phyllo cups from the package and place on a baking sheet.
Scoop one teaspoon of goat cheese in each cup and bake at 350 degrees for 3-5 minutes. This crisps up the phyllo for an incredible crunch and allows the goat cheese to soften just a bit.
Once out of the oven, top with a few pomegranate seeds, a drizzle of honey and a fresh sprig of thyme. Yum!
Quick Goat Cheese Bites
These baked goat cheese bites are low in calories and so easy to make. And the presentation is just beautiful. The red pomegranates and fresh thyme are perfect for the holidays!
You could also modify this recipe and adapt it for each season. These would be delicious with strawberry jam and fresh basil for the summer months! And what about apricot preserves and minced rosemary? So many possibilities!
Let me know if you try this easy holiday appetizer. It’s always a crowd pleaser!
