DIY Fall Wreath
I have been craving simplicity. As fall approaches, normally I tend to fill my home with cozy textures and layers. But this year I think I am going to keep it simple.
This DIY fall wreath is pretty simple. Monochromatic and striking with its symbolic design. I am loving this rose gold laurel wreath!
I will show you how easy it is to make. It took less than 30 minutes to put together and requires little supplies. I also have a shortcut that I think may surprise you!
Rose Gold Laurel Wreath Supplies
To make this rose gold laurel wreath, you need very few supplies.
How to Make a DIY Fall Wreath
The first step to making your DIY fall laurel wreath is to spray your magnolia leaf garland.
I chose to spray mine rose gold since I had the spray paint on hand. But I think this would be equally as pretty in a gold leaf. The first coat of paint doesn’t have to be perfect. We will be giving the wreath a final coat of spray paint when it is fully assembled.
After you have the garland painted, you want to cut off the leaf sections. I chose to work in sections of 3 leaves.
Lay them on the wreath form and get an idea of placement. Separate the leaves, making them go in alternate directions.
Secure each section with the floral wire. Keep going until you have the DIY fall wreath filled about 3/4 of the way up.
Now, give the wreath a final coat of spray paint. You may also want to spray the circular wreath form and floral wire so the entire wreath is monochromatic.
Finally, add some ribbon!
