Come in and see our Anthropologie Inspired Christmas Home Tour filled with lots of bright colors and cozy textures.
Welcome to our Anthropologie Inspired Christmas Home Tour!
Hi! I am so glad you’re here. If you’re visiting from This Is Simplicite, welcome! I’m Ashley, blogger here at Modern Glam. I live in the SF Bay Area along with my husband and 2 kids. We have been slowly renovating and decorating our home over the past 10 years. I love the holidays and have a lot of content if you’re looking for inspiration! You can find more Christmas ideas HERE.
Anthro-Inspired Christmas Tree
Our Christmas tree this year is filled with pops of pink, turquoise and cozy textures. My daughter had a big part in choosing the colors this year and I’m so happy I let her take over!
It’s definitely a departure from last year’s Nordic-themed tree. But, I am a bit obsessed with the bright pinks, especially against our dark green wall.
You can see all the details of this Colorful Snowflake Christmas Tree here.
Christmas Living Room Tour
Continuing the tour and our Anthro-Inspired Christmas theme, next up is our living room. Just a few swaps and changes changed the mood in this room.
I changed the pillow covers and added in this Merry Everything pillow from Anthropologie. The colors in the pillow really set the tone in this room.
One of my favorite additions this year is this artwork from Lindsay Letters. Her canvases and prints are always one of my favorite ways to add some holiday cheer to our home.
This year I chose the Deck The Halls and Fa La La art and hung them as a set. I hung a bright pink velvet ribbon at the top to add a bit of color and festive touch to the art. Because, velvet bows just say holiday in my opinion ;).
And each year I hang copper LED curtain lights in our big window. It truly is my favorite way to create a cozy glow. With the light from the Christmas tree, candles and these curtain lights, the glow in here at night is magical.
One of my favorite easy ways to decorate for Christmas is to fill a bowl or jar with ornaments. Easy, no-fuss decor that adds color and whimsy to your home. This year I filled an apothecary jar with vintage ornaments and also this bowl on our coffee table. I placed 2 candles in the middle and it makes a great centerpiece for our living room.
Anthro-Inspired Holiday Mantel
This year’s holiday mantel is simple yet colorful and fun. I reuse the same garland every year. It is from McGee & Co. Then I hung our knit Christmas stockings on one side and draped the greenery off to the side for the perfect Anthro-inspired vibe. Some paper snowflakes, vintage ornaments and bottle brush trees finish the look.
I picked up these bright and colorful taper candles at Anthropologie for Christmas. The colors are great and I love how tall the candles are! To finish the look I hung this colorful ornament wreath on the mirror.
