Halloween decorating ideas. It is so much fun to decorate for all the seasons and holidays. Sometimes it can feel overwhelming with all the options out there. I have put together my favorite finds for Halloween to simplify it!
And I have offered ways in which I would use each item. A step by step guide for you. I like to keep my Halloween decorations pretty simple and modern. A clean palette of black, white and orange!

This cute set of Halloween inspired fans can be used in all sorts of ways! I can picture them on your front door to add to your porch decor or above your mantel. Such a fun and easy way to decorate when they are sold together as a set like this!
2. Trick of Treat Banner
I love the play on words here. What a fun and witty way to bring a touch a Halloween to your home. This would be great for an adult themed party too!
3. Boo Card
This is such a simple but cute card to send to anyone. But the reason I love this is that I think it would be so cute framed in a basic white Ikea frame and placed on a shelf or as part of your Halloween mantel display!
4. Witch’s Brew Mug
A seasonal mug is always a favorite in my house and this witch’s brew mug couldn’t be more fitting! Makes a great gift for the Halloween lover in your life too!
5 & 6 Halloween Lanterns
I love the simplicity of these lanterns. Modern and clean looking. Perfect for your Halloween porch or add to the bottom of your fireplace. I def need these in my life!
7. Trick or Treat Pillow
One of my favorite resources for unique home items is Etsy. And the pillow selection on there is unbeatable. I love finding unique seasonal pillows and I always find the best ones on Etsy. This Trick or Treat pillow has beautiful lettering and is simple enough to add to your current assortment without having to go all black and orange!
8. Buffalo Check Pillow
Buffalo check is definitely on trend right now. I love it for fall and Halloween for obvious reasons. But I think it adds a sophistication to your otherwise seasonal decor. I have linked 2 options at the bottom of the post, both are beautiful!
9. Festive Straws
Having cute straws around when you have little kids is essential. My kids love to use these for everything from drinking their milk to making crafts! Throw these in a mason jar and add to your kitchen counter for a quick seasonal update!
10. Halloween Cake Toppers
Now these are advertised as cake toppers, but I find them equally as charming placed in a jar with dried hydrangeas or mixed with some cute pumpkins. The options are endless here. I love the vintage charm these can add to your space!
11. Bat Wreath
This is one of my favorite items for this Halloween. And while it would be simple to make, sometimes you have to prioritize and cut out the DIY when there are ready-made options available, right?! I love the simple bat silhouettes against the rustic twig form.
12. Cat String Lights
I love these cute kitty lanterns. My daughter actually picked these out on our last trip to Target. She is a little cat obsessed. I’m thinking she needs to be that Crazy Cat Lady for Halloween this year, lol! I love these lights strung on your doorstep to add a little spook to your decor.
