My Cozy Fall Kitchen
Create a cozy fall kitchen and enjoy the autumn months in the heart of the home. I’ve updated my kitchen for fall – come take a peek!
Fall is a time for creating a comfy nest. It’s a time for adding layers and creating a warm and welcoming vibe inside your home. Fall is all about taking that cozy factor and increasing it to the max!
If you are here from Krista, The Happy Housie, welcome! I can’t wait to show you my favorite fall decorating ideas for the kitchen. It doesn’t take much to make the heart of the home feel extra cozy for fall!
Fall Kitchen Decor
I love to decorate my kitchen. We spend a lot of time in here, so it’s fitting that this room also gets updated with each season. Last year my Simple Fall Kitchen was filled with copper and burnt orange leaves.
Since then, we have remodeled our kitchen. You can see the full kitchen remodel reveal here.
So, to create this year’s cozy fall kitchen, I used a lot of natural elements. Fresh pumpkins, antique cutting boards, and my favorite fall sign from Lindsay Letters.
If you aren’t following along with Lindsay’s daughter Eva Love’s fight after suffering a traumatic brain injury, you can read more here. Our family has been praying daily for her full and complete recovery!
Our home is filled with her beautiful artwork, including her Silent Night canvas featured in my Christmas Home Tour from last year.
An easy way to support Lindsay and her family is through purchasing her beautiful art.
This fall sign is a printable and makes an easy addition to your fall home decor. I just printed it out on my home printer and put it in a frame.
5 Ways To Create A Cozy Fall Kitchen
Now, if you are wondering, “how can I make my kitchen feel cozy, warm and inviting for fall?” here are some easy ways to update your decor for fall and create a cozy fall kitchen!
1. Add Fall Color Through Accessories
A great way to my your kitchen feel cozy for fall is to add in some accessories that feel autumnal while still going with your decor.
I added these amber hued bottles and my favorite Staub pumpkin pot to add some fresh fall color.
Breadboards, wheat and real pumpkins keep these open shelves feeling seasonal without going overboard.
2. Use Seasonal Produce
An easy way to add the feeling of fall to your kitchen is by using fresh and in-season produce. Let the natural colors be your guide and go from there!
My cozy fall kitchen wouldn’t be complete without some fresh pumpkins and gourds.
And the great thing about using fresh pumpkins in the kitchen is that they make the space feel more organic and natural.
I added a butternut squash and heirloom pumpkin to my open shelves. The color perfectly mimics the copper accessories.
3. Add Fall Art
An easy way to add some fall decor to your kitchen is through art. Whether it be an old oil painting of a wheat field, or a typography print, artwork can be a beautiful way to add to your seasonal decor.
I love this Fall Gratitude Printable just propped against my backsplash. And it’s an easy and no fuss way to add to my cozy fall kitchen.
4. Bring in a Fun Fall Print Towel
Adding a cute fall tea towel to your kitchen is a simple, but a fun way to add some autumn decor without much effort. And there are so many cute options out there!
Some of my favorites are from Anthropologie.
5. Use Found Objects to Add Warmth
My final and favorite way to create a cozy fall kitchen is by using vintage, antique or found items to add warmth and character to your kitchen.
Whether it is an antique breadboard or old muffin tin, objects that have patina and history have a way of making your home feel lived in and inviting.
