Pom Pom Gift Wrap
Every year, Target comes out with their fun Sugar Paper gift wrap collection and I look forward to seeing the newest selection! One thing is for sure, they always do some sort of black and white graphic paper.
I decided to wrap my Christmas presents this year utilizing this affordable and beautiful holiday wrap. I also wanted to add something special and homemade to each package.
And knowing that next year they will have a newer version of this black and white graphic paper, I know this idea can be adapted and used again!
Unique Christmas Gift Wrap
I have been known to make some pom poms in the past, hehe! I have my Winter Pom Pom Wreath and the Bottlebrush tree and Pom Pom wreath. As well as my Pom Pom Garland DIY. So, to say that I am adept at making pom poms is a bit of an understatement.
I pulled out my favorite pom pom makers and some thick yarn and made a bunch of puffs while watching Hallmark Christmas movies. It doesn’t take too much time to whip some up.

Hand Stamped Gift Tags
These hand stamped gift tags were born many years ago. I made these for all of my Christmas packages years ago, before I had kids. I’m sure I saw it on someone’s blog. But it has been so long that I can’t remember!
I love how simple and modern it looks. The original version of these gift tags had hand written messages on them. But this year, I pulled out my alphabet stamps and decided to stamp each recipients initial on the tag. I like the monogrammed look, do you?
Since this gift wrap is black, white and gold, the bold letters really stand out. A simple, yet personalized idea that I know your recipient will love! I found my tags at The Container Store, but I linked them HERE for you as well.
How To Make Pom Pom Gift Wrap
Ok, so now that you have your poms poms and your stamped gift tags, let’s talk about how to tie up your pretty packages.
I used thick yarn to wrap around the presents three times. I tied this in a knot on the back. Then, attach 2-3 pom poms of varying sizes to one of the strands of yarn. Next, add something unique. Like a wooden ornament, bell or any kind of bauble.
Add your gift tag. Then, I used some ribbon remnants and tied them to the cluster of pom poms. Just some extra texture and design to finish off the package.
