Rose Gold Christmas Mantel
Welcome! I can’t wait to show you my modern farmhouse Christmas mantel, I departed from my usual holiday decorations this year and kept things neutral and simple. And I am so excited to be joining so many talented bloggers in this Seasonal Simplicity Series hosted by Krista, The Happy Housie.

A Rose Gold Christmas Mantel
I have been busy decking the halls and preparing for the holidays since November 1. I know that may seem too soon, but I like to get it done early. All in the hopes that you may get some inspiration and start thinking about how you might decorate your own homes for the holidays!
Can you believe that my entire holiday decor was sparked by an old Target holiday decoration? It’s true. See, I have had this copper Merry Christmas banner for 4 years. And this year, as I put away my Halloween decorations, I saw this old banner and was reminded of how much I love the beautiful blush coppery color.
But, my favorite part of the garland is that it is tied together with black and white bakers twine! What a beautiful combination! See, that’s what inspired me to create this rose gold Christmas decor accented with black and white stripes!
So, when decorating my rose gold christmas mantel, I knew I wanted to keep things pretty simple but accented with the metallic shades. And of course, utilizing the Merry Christmas banner!
How To Decorate A Christmas Mantel
There are many ways you can decorate your mantel for Christmas. I love to start with fresh or faux greenery. This year, I found this incredible faux garland this year and it is so realistic looking even close up! And while I love fresh greenery, I like to use a faux version since we use our fireplace and the real stuff dries out so quickly.
Next, you can will want to add a focal point. You can use some artwork, a mirror or even just a wreath. I chose this canvas from Lindsay Letters. I just love all of her beautiful creations and I have gathered quite the collection over the years!
And lastly, add in some twinkly lights and maybe some candles. I draped my favorite copper string lights on the garland and added some trees for height on either side of the artwork. And I just love these bejeweled trees from Mackenzie-Childs. They add a special vintage touch to this display, don’t you think?
