The kids are back in school and it’s starting to get dark earlier. Fall is creeping in on us! I even spied some leaves turning red and orange on my climbing Boston Ivy.

Neutral Fall Porch Decorating Ideas
I love how simple and clean this looks. Sometimes fall decor can feel a bit fussy to me with all the reds, oranges and yellows. But simplifying the color scheme is an easy way to still be able to add lots of fun elements for the season!
Add a fun wreath
Adding a seasonal wreath is a great way to welcome visitors and bring a seasonal feel to your home. I love this rustic farmhouse style wreath that my sister, Tatertots and Jello made.
And this easy wreath by Little White House would be a cinch to make. Barn wood, spanish moss and some faux pumpkins are all that is needed!
Create an Outdoor Sitting Area
What better way to enjoy autumn than curled up under a blanket on your porch? Maybe with a glass of wine or a hot mug of coffee. Perfection in my book! Love this fall porch decorating idea!
Create a comfy space that makes enjoying the season outside all the more inviting! Just add some cute pillows and yummy knit blankets!
Use Organic Decor
Sometimes it’s the most simple and natural decor that is the most beautiful. This understated decor really shines the brightest in the fall and winter seasons for the front porch. With just using hay bales, cornstalks and pumpkins, you can create a beautiful vignette for your porch. Add in some lanterns and twinkle lights and it creates such a magical ambiance.
We love going together to the pumpkin farm or nursery each year and picking out unique and original pumpkins for our front porch display. Those Cinderella pumpkins are my favorite!
Add some Signs
Another great fall porch decorating idea. Whether it’s a marquee sign or a giant sign that screams FALL, signs are such an easy way to add to your fall display.
I love the antique Delivery Entrance sign pictured below. Now if I could only find a similar one to add to my house for the UPS man, lol!
Add a blanket ladder
Nothing says fall like a cozy plaid blanket to curl up in. And finding a ladder display full of blankets on the front porch is unexpected yet so fun!
I love this idea and I’m planning on doing it next to our hanging swings outside. I can’t think of anything more inviting than that!
So, how are you planning on decorating your porch for fall this year? I hope this gave you some ideas! I’d love to see what you have planned!

We advised them to make it wide enough to accommodate a porch swing and give ample play room for their three children. The porch can then accommodate not only their family comfortably but their kids’ friends as well!
